Energy and Resiliency
Climate Week NYC kicks off this week and is the premier global climate event of the year. Coordinated in conjunction with the UN General Assembly, it brings together international leaders from business, government, finance, and civil society to drive transition from ambition to large-scale implementation. This year’s core theme—Energy, Impact and Action—focuses heavily on redesigning energy systems, managing rising electricity demands, accelerating corporate decarbonization, and overcoming supply chain and regulatory hurdles. As NYC hosts over 1,000 official events, we will participate in events with our partners like the NYC Climate Exchange, NYCEDC, Voltus, and peer universities.
Con Edison is continuing their work along Spruce Street, Park Row and Frankfort Street rerouting electrical cable around 1 Pace Plaza. This necessary work is being completed to restore a feeder that provides electric service to lower Manhattan. Additionally, by performing this reroute Con Edison will not require access to the 1 Pace Plaza courtyard.
One Pace Plaza East Renovation
As departments settle into their new spaces in One Pace Plaza East, please report any renovation-related issues that require attention by emailing facilities@pace.edu.
Pleasantville Campus
- Kessel Student Center Chiller Replacement
- The contract for Phase 1 work has been rewarded. Details regarding timing of the work and impacts to community activities will be communicated shortly.
- Pace Athletic Center Locker Room Renovation
- The locker room renovations will commence once the construction permit is received from the town.
- Fire life safety drills are scheduled for Thursday, September 24 and Friday September 25.
Haub School of Law Campus
- Furniture delivery for the Pace Women's Justice Center Expansion is anticipated to take place by October 30.

Facilities Work Order System
As a reminder please be sure to submit Facilities Work Order tickets through the Saber system at facilitiesrequest.pace.edu. For emergencies, please call the Facilities Department at (914) 923-2725 for Westchester and (212) 346-1521 in New York City during work hours. You can also send an email to facilities@pace.edu.
Important: You must be logged on to the Pace Wi-Fi to access Saber.
It is critical to have all issues tracked and logged to ensure work is being completed in a timely fashion and for future planning of equipment down time.

Additionally, by performing this reroute Con Edison will not require access to the 1 Pace Plaza courtyard. Over the weekend of September 12, 2026–September 13, 2026 Con Edison completed repaving of the Frankfort lot and it has safely reopened.
